Category: General – Sarah – 9:34 am

Smart phones have made our lives so much easier, a decade ago it was unthinkable that we would be carrying a device which performs everything and even more than what our computers did at that time, we have that in our pocket, plus the introduction of apps have taken it a step forward and help us do things which are amazing, there is no need for a walkman, you have that in your mobile, no need for a good camera, these are installed in your mobile, no need to carry laptops you can do everything in your mobile, it has really made our lives so much more convenient, but since everything is in that one device we have developed a habit of staring down at our mobile sets for long durations, and that is something which is the biggest disadvantages, some believe that the mobile phone exerts rays which are not good for our heart and all but that may or may not be evident, but text neck and forward head posture syndrome effects everyone who uses the mobile for long durations.

When you put your head into an unnatural position while staring down at your phone, it effects the neck and the spinal cord, and after a while it will become a habit and it will ruin your posture, this should never be taken lightly because this can have permanent damage and will require proper medical attention, the best way to deal with it is to do FHP exercises and avoid the excessive use of cell phones, if it hasn’t really been that bad till now you still have the chance to deal with it naturally and by exercise, don’t make it worse by continuing with that habit, if you want to know about the best FHP exercise then click here.
